Since Colson’s death, my desire to help other grieving parents has gradually been growing to the point that it is now a passion. There are many books on grief – and well intentioned friends have given us several. Most of these books deal with emotions and coming to terms with feelings.

As a parent who misses his child, I don’t want candy coated comfort. I want answers.

The best way to deal with a loss like this is to know answers. Rock solid answers. Personally, I don’t really worry about how I feel as much as I care about WHERE MY SON IS. However, knowing the answer does affect how I feel, which is a nice by-product of having a reliable answer.

This book, Where Is My Child?, is divided into two sections:

1) How can I know that the source of my information, the Bible, is reliable?

(What good is it to know what the Bible says if you don’t know it is accurate? Section one, using a Question – Answer format helps grieving parents see the reasonable aspects for the reliability of the Holy Scriptures including areas of science, philosophy, history, and fulfilled prophecies.)

2) What does the Bible say about my child’s whereabouts?

(Section two is specifically about Heaven and the beautiful revelation that we can know about our child’s new home and our own future with them. There is more exciting information about this issue in the pages of God’s Word than 99% of the people in this world ever knew.)

Hopefully this book will be ready for publication in early 2008.
