What The Bible Says

The Bible is not merely a “good book” or a “religious book” – it IS the Word of God. It is entirely unique from all other writings in the world that claim to reveal God.

The Bible is reliable and verifiable in many ways. It is scientifically and historically accurate as well as philosophically pertinent. The fulfilled prophecies alone provide enough evidence for any open minded skeptic to see that it is worth trusting one’s life with.

The likelihood that any person or any book could predict two or three events accurately is astounding when you look at the science of probabilities. The fact that the Bible contains dozens is amazing.

What does the Bible say about our situation?

It tells us that we will again be with Colson and Kelsey in Heaven – not because of anything we do, but because of what God has done for us. Jesus died on the cross two thousand years ago to pay for our sins and the sins of anyone else who is repentant and willing to ACCEPT His GIFT of salvation.

John 3:16 tells us, “God so loved the world, that He gave His only son, and that whoever believes (trusts) in Him, will not perish – but have EVERLASTING LIFE.”

Acknowledging this to be true, will not save you from your sins or give you eternal life. You have to genuinely ask God for forgiveness and accept His gift.

If you do, remember that it is a gift that is 100% paid for. Nothing you can do will “help” earn your way to Heaven. Jesus paid it ALL.

Your life will change and your desires will change. But your motivation for good works and to live a life pleasing to God will be motivated from a heart full of thankfulness in what you HAVE – not motivated by a spirit of fear and hope that you will live “good enough” to earn your way to Heaven.
